With 8 Specialty Practice Networks (SPNs) to choose from, we've got a SPN eGroup for you! Select from these specialties: Acute Care, Administration, Advanced Practice, Chronic Kidney Disease, Hemodialysis, Home Therapies Pediatric, or Transplant. You can select 1 group or all 8. To add a SPN eGroup, email the National Office. Place the name of the eGroup you want to join in the subject line of your email and type Join eGroup in the message. OR you can join right away by following these instructions: First, log into your member profile on ANNA's website at www.annanurse.org. Once logged in, select "Review Membership, SPNs & Purchases" from the list of blue links on the left side of the screen. A list of your current SPN memberships will display under "SPN Participation." Click "Edit/Add" next to "SPN Participation" to change or add your choices. In the pop-up box that opens, scroll down to the last question to make your selections. Hold the "Control" or "Command" key to select multiple options. Don't forget to hit "Save" and you're all done! Want to leave a SPN? Click here to unsubscribe from any SPN eGroup. You may subscribe again at any time. Place the name of the eGroup you want to leave in the subject line of your email and type Leave eGroup in the message. Who can post a message to the SPN group? As a member of a SPN eGroup, you are invited to post messages or comments. In fact, your comments and questions bring life to the eGroup, so we encourage you to "get connected!" Any message you post will automatically be sent to all ANNA members subscribed to your SPN eGroup. As a general rule: Keep posts related to the specialty. Identify your "credentials" and "place of work" with each post or reply. Do not use ANNA Connected for commercial interests and job posts. How do I POST a message to the SPN group? Posting is easy. Click here. Log in to your account. Put your cursor on eGroups. Select Post a Message. In the TO bar of your message, use the drop down list to select the SPN eGroup you'd like to post a message to. (Note: You must be part of the SPN eGroup to post a message.) Finish your post as you would a general email. You must include a subject line, then use your TAB key to enter the text for your post. To Send your message, click on the blue SEND button at the bottom right of your message. How do I ATTACH a file to my post? Follow the instructions to post a message. Before sending the post, select the green ATTACH button at the bottom of your post. Use the prompts to attach any file saved on your computer. Other Questions?
