The meeting, held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, drew practitioners from a wide variety of nephrology areas. In addition to attending sessions on topics that ranged from clinical to administrative, the attendees networked at special events, earned continuing nursing education contact hours, and met with vendors in a packed exhibit hall. Conference highlights included an opening general session by nursing leader Connie Curran, EdD, RN, FAAN, who discussed the crucial importance of nurses getting to the decision-making tables to help steer health cares future. Another popular and timely session on bundling of payment practices was presented by Gary Inglese, Director of U.S. Healthcare Reimbursement at Baxter Healthcare. ANNA extends the benefit of attending the conference to attendees by offering free access to all recorded educational sessions (including live audio and slides) in ANNA's Online Library (www.annanurse.org/library).
