Lend Your Expertise to Help Launch a New Era for Nephrology Nursing
ANNA is proud to introduce the newly formed Nephrology Nursing Foundation, created to strengthen education, support innovative research, and expand community outreach across the nephrology nursing profession. This Foundation represents an important step forward in advancing kidney health and elevating the vital work of nephrology nurses.
We are now seeking dedicated, mission-driven individuals to serve on the Foundation’s inaugural Board of Directors. The inaugural Board will play a key role in shaping the Foundation’s early direction, helping build programs, and ensuring that its impact is meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of nephrology nurses and the patients they serve.

As a Board member, you will:

Candidate Requirements
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who are passionate about nephrology nursing and committed to supporting the Foundation’s vision. Ideal candidates will bring a combination of clinical experience, leadership, and commitment to the specialty. Requirements include:
Chairperson
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical practice in nephrology nursing
- Previous service as an ANNA chapter officer or committee member
- Experience in non-profit leadership, board governance, or fundraising
- Strong communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
- Passionate about membership, advancing nursing education, and enhancing patient care through nurse empowerment
Board Member
- Experience, interest, or demonstrated passion for nephrology nursing is preferred
- Commitment to the mission and values of ANNA and the Nephrology Nursing Foundation
