Nursing Community Coalition Requests Support for Nurse Corps Service Recognition Amendment #257
The Nursing Community Coalition requests the House of Representatives to support for Bustos Amendment #257 to H.R. 2500 - National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020. Bustos Amendment #257 would recognize nurses who served as members of the United States Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II and provide them with honorable discharges, medal privileges, and burial benefits for cemeteries administered under the Department of Veterans Affairs.
