Nurse Practitioner

Fairfield County Nephrology practice, a progressive group of nephrologists, is seeking a nurse practitioner. The NP will assist the nephrologists with efficient and thorough clinical management of dialysis outpatients in the surrounding area in addition to patients in the office setting. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our patient care team, must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively. No weekends or evenings. Hemodialysis Staff RN

Responsibilities: Provide Hemodialysis across the spectrum of care in our state-of-the-art settings.  MGH provides care to Acute and Chronic patients in our 8 station unit as well as in the ICUs. Must be able to work a day/evening rotation,1-2 Saturdays per month and take occasional night /weekend call. 

Qualifications: BSN preferred. Current MA RN licensure required. Must have recent acute and/or chronic hemodialysis experience. ICU experience preferred.

Clinic Coordinator

Individual in this role is accountable for planning, supervising and coordinating all patient care activities and daily clinic operations in order to maintain a safe, efficient, financially responsible environment to provide the highest level of quality patient care. This individual manages hiring, staffing, disciplinary action, development and employment decisions related to clinic staff. The Clinical Coordinator executes and monitors the daily clinical, labor and supply utilization, and regulatory functions of the programs consistent with the State, Federal and Company guidelines.

Home Training Registered Nurse

The Home Training RN is responsible for a Home Training case load. The individual in this role provides dialysis patient care for acute patients at local area hospitals.  The Acute Nurse executes and monitors treatments in the hospital setting; follows up on care, and provides the proper documentation for dialysis care. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with the State, Federal and Company guidelines and Company policies and procedures.

Dialysis Nurse Educator

Works in collaboration with the Nursing Department Managers to identify educational needs of staff in the specialty area, to develop programs to meet these needs, and evaluate outcomes. Orients new staff, trains and serves as a mentor for preceptors, assures competency validation of new staff and facilitates annual competency validation updates. Works with Educational Resources and the Nurse Managers to assess educational needs, plan, implement, and evaluate programs designed to meet these needs.
