In this episode, Lillian Pryor, MSN, RN, CNN, the 2020-2021 President of the American Nephrology Nurses Association, talks with Icar Noel, BS, RN, an Acute Nephrology Nurse and Team Leader RN with Fresenius Kidney Care in Philadelphia, and a leader within the American Nephrology Nurses Association.
Icar Noel, BS, RN, has been an acute nephrology nurse since 2015 and is a Team Leader Registered Nurse with Fresenius Kidney Care in Inpatient Services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, At Fresenius, Ms. Noel guides staff members as an expert and a resource for staff members on assigned Inpatient Center treatment floors. She coordinates and schedules direct patient care staff to provide coverage of acute dialysis treatments in contracted hospitals, and she ensures efficient patient scheduling and staff utilization in accordance with Fresenius policy. Ms. Noel has been a member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association since 2018 and is the President and Treasurer of ANNA’s Keystone Chapter in Pennsylvania. She is currently working on obtaining her Certified Dialysis Nurse credential.
Lillian Pryor, MSN, RN, CNN, is a Renal Clinical Nurse at the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia. A member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association since 1990, Ms. Pryor has served in roles that include president-elect, ANNA director, ANNA Awards and Scholarships Committee chairperson, ANNA representative to the Kidney Health Initiative Patient Preference Task Force, and author and peer reviewer for the Nephrology Nursing Journal. Ms. Pryor is currently serving as the 2020-2021 President of the American Nephrology Nurses Association. In addition, she is an active member of ANNA’s Dogwood Chapter in Georgia and has served the chapter as both its president and health policy representative.
