Virtual Student Membership *FREE

Any student within a nursing program leading to licensure as a registered nurse (RN) is eligible for a 1-year student membership. (If a student has already attained RN status, the member is considered a full member and student membership does not apply.) To apply for student membership, please complete the online Virtual Student Membership Application and attach current proof of your student status/enrollment. (Please note: You will be prompted to create an account with ANNA prior to completing the student membership application form.)

 At ANNA, student nurses are special. We support you and strive to offer you resources and experiences to launch your career in nursing. Take advantage of all that ANNA has to offer!

ANNA Student Honor Cord Program

The American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) is excited to offer a Student Honor Cord Program to recognize the dedication and contributions of its student members. This honor is awarded to students who actively participate in ANNA through advocacy, public outreach, education, and service to nephrology nursing.

To earn the Student Honor Cord, ANNA student members must complete a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer service. This service must be performed between the time of initial membership and up to six months before graduation. The cord can be proudly worn during the student’s graduation ceremony to signify their commitment and achievements in the field.
